Darts delight for Jamie from Radnor
Jamie Poulton of Radnor YFC will celebrate in style at tonight's Annual Convention, after being crowned champion of the 2016 Fun Darts competition, sponsored by Walkabout Blackpool.
Jamie (pictured right) picked up the top prize of £100 after victory in the final against Rob Flaherty of Lancashire YFC. But Flaherty won't be too disheartened habing picked up a runner-up prize of £50.
Poulton also defeated reigning champion Mark Curr on the way to glory. Curr had hoped to make it a hat-trick of titles in Blackpool, but succumbed to Poulton at the quarter-final stage.
The two losing semi-finalists, Joe Prick of Brecknock YFC and Simon Smith of Cumbria YFC, each picked up a prize of £25.
Dan Ford of Derbyshire YFC also earned himself £25 for winning the six-dart challenge and Sara Wilkinson won the same prize for being the highest ranked player of the opposite sex.
