Guests pack Chairman’s Reception

NFYFC National Chairman Chris Manley has told guests at his Chairman’s Reception that they are in for a fantastic weekend at the 2016 NFYFC Annual Convention.

Dozens of invited guests – including representatives from young farmer organisations across the five nations – packed into the Massey Ferguson Lounge in the Winter Gardens in Blackpool for the Chairman’s Reception. Chris said: “You can tell from the enthusiasm at registration that we’re on for an absolutely fantastic weekend.”

As well as exciting entertainment from Radio 1 DJs, Chris highlighted the AGRI Forum, competitions in darts, drama and dancing and the AGM as must-see events and asked guests to encourage their members to attend the AGRI Forum and mix with sponsors.

Campbell Scott, Director Marketing Services and Public Relations for Massey Ferguson, said that he was delighted to be sponsor for the NFYFC Annual Convention for another year.

“In ten, 15, 20 years time, the vast majority of the food in this country will be produced by the people here and that’s why it’s so important to us that Massey Ferguson is part of it,” he said.

He also congratulated Chris on his election to the role of National Chairman, saying that he is “highly skilled in the field of agriculture”.

He said: “No one has put in more effort in front of and behind the scenes in such an enthusiastic, skilled and educated way.”
