Get involved

Be part of Convention

Annual Convention is one of the biggest events in the Young Farmers' Clubs calendar. It attracts more than 5,000 young people who gather together to celebrate being part of one of the largest rural youth organisations in the UK.

While the event is only open to members and associates, there are plenty of other ways to be involved – either by volunteering, exhibiting or sponsoring.

Sponsors

Many of our activities over the weekend attract sponsorship from companies interested in marketing their services or products to young farmers. This is a prime opportunity to share your brand's message with more than 5,000 of our members. There are key advertising opportunities through our website, newsletters, promotional literature, electronic displays and exhibition space. If you are interested in finding out more, please contact our Fundraising Officer James Eckley on 02476 857 214

Acts

We are always interested to hear from acts who are interested in performing for Young Farmers over our three-day event. The three evenings include DJ's and bands and we also host daytime activities such as comedians and pub quizzes. The entertainment is chosen by the NFYFC's Communications, Events and Marketing Steering Group, made up of elected members from the Federation. Please send details of your act to James Eckley for consideration.

Volunteers

If you would like to help out during Convention weekend, please get in contact with Erica Attwood for more information. You can also read more about the roles and activities on our Volunteers page.
