Let's play darts!

 

Make sure your Convention fun is bang on target with NFYFC's very own darts championships.

When: Saturday 5th May, 10:30 booking in

Where: Empress Ballroom, Winter Gardens, Blackpool.

The first 64 members* to sign in and pay a £5.00 entry fee will compete over six rounds of darts in a knockout competition. Each competitor will be given a number (1-64) and a draw shall take place to allocate competitors to one of the four darts boards and their first opponent. Each game must finish on a double!

The Rounds

  • Round 1: 64 people, 32 matches, consisting of one game of 301
  • Round 2: 32 people, 16 matches, consisting of one game of 501
  • Round 3: 16 people, eight matches, consisting of one game of 501
  • Round 4: Eight people, four matches, consisting of three games of 501
  • Break – Six Dart Challenge (highest score with six darts wins) – open to all non-semi-finalists
  • Semi-final – four people, two matches, consisting of five games of 501
  • Final – Winners of semi-finals, consisting of five games of 501

The Awards

  • First place – £100
  • Second place – £50
  • Losing Semi-Finalists – £25
  • Highest placed person of the opposite sex  – £25
  • Six Dart Challenge – £25

Please note the scores do not count towards any trophies. Rules may be subject to change dependant on time constraints on the day.

* You must be wearing a valid Annual Convention 2018 wristband to take part. 

** Male or Female associates who wish to compete must have a YFC membership card.
